WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
We’re committed to transparency every step of the way. Below is a breakdown of how your sponsorship funds are used.
|
0% goes to KRC's operational budget.
Thanks to the generosity of our church partners, we’re able to ensure that private donations—like student sponsorships—are used entirely to serve and bless the refugee community. 100% goes to helping students. Every dollar of your sponsorship (minus standard processing fees) directly benefits refugees. The chart provides a breakdown of how funds are allocated when you sponsor a student. Want details on other sponsorship opportunities? We’re happy to provide similar breakdowns—just ask! |
Every sponsorship supports refugee employment.
In addition to education, the greatest need within the KL refugee community is employment. That is why all paid positions at KRC are reserved for refugees. This includes our Sponsorship Coordinator. The Sponsorship Coordinator's salary is derived from our Sponsorship Program, with a percentage (10%) of all sponsorship fees put into a salary fund. The Sponsorship Coordinator's job is to serve as a liaison between our global sponsors and the students in KL.
