Serving with KRC is an opportunity to build relationships, use your gifts, and join what God is doing in the refugee community of Kuala Lumpur. Whether you have a few hours, a particular skill, or simply a willingness to serve, there is a place for you to make a meaningful difference.
Five ways to get involved with KRC's mission today!
- KRC's Mobile Church - The students at T-PEC can't go to church, so let's bring church to them. KRC brings our Mobile Church program to their school two Sundays a month. Nervous about jumping in? Feel free to shadow us on an upcoming Sunday to learn how to plan and organize the activities.
- Volunteer Teacher - If you have any free time during school hours (Monday-Friday 9-3 PM), consider volunteering your knowledge to help with classes. Subjects needed include English, math, science, and social studies. Contact us if you would like to volunteer regularly.
- Volunteer at the Kingdom Camp - Our largest event is a growing Bible camp for refugee children (ages 6-12). We are always looking for volunteers to join our team so that we can grow this event bigger and bigger each year. The Kingdom Camp is held in June.
- Disciple Teenagers - Help disciple our youngest brothers and sisters in Christ. Meet with refugee students every two weeks for one hour. We can provide mentorship training and materials.
- Volunteer English Classes - Can't volunteer during the weekday because of your schedule? No worries. Volunteer your time on Saturdays to help run an adult English class.
